Dr. Prema Gopie is a Sport Medicine Physician experienced in treating a variety of upper and lower extremity musculoskeletal illnesses. He completed his residency training at McMaster University in Family Medicine and following this completed a Sport and Exercise Medicine Fellowship at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He also holds a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine as granted by the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine and is an active member of the national organization. He has a special interest in upper extremities and the use of ultrasound in diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disease.

Dr. Gopie is actively involved in teaching musculoskeletal medicine to residents and physicians in both clinical and classroom settings at UBC, McMaster and The University of Toronto.

When not working he loves watching basketball, going to the gym, cooking, spending time with family and his precious cat "Pinky

Cortisone Injections - $30 plus tax per vial (Free if you bring your own prescription. If I provide a new prescription for you to obtain the medication from your pharmacy this will require a new follow up appointment to administer the injection).

Hyaluronic Acid (Durolane, Monovisc etc.) - $500 plus tax

Platelet Rich Plasma - $550 plus tax
